Mountain Living Legacy

The Ridges on Greenbrier Mountain are named after several of the twenty-six American presidents who have visited The Greenbrier during our more than 230-year history. James Monroe, the country's fifth president, reflected the dual role of The Greenbrier as a place of both physical rejuvenation and political importance when he came here in 1813 to 'take the waters.' Since that time, The Greenbrier has hosted some of the most important figures in American history.
In addition, there are miles of hiking, biking and horse trails to add to the experience of living a luxurious life in the unsurpassed beauty of the mountains.
